House is Professor and Chair of the Division of Visual Computing in the School of Computing at Clemson University, Clemson, South Carolina, USA. He received his Ph.D. in Computer and Information Sciences from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, his M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Rensselaer, and his B.S. in Mathematics from Union College. His early research was in cloth simulation, and physically based animation. More recently his focus has been on cognitive and perceptual optimization of visualizations under uncertainty. John C. Keyser is Professor and Associate Department Head for Academics in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Texas A&M University, College Station, Texas, USA. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of North Carolina, and B.S. degrees in Applied Math, Engineering Physics, and Computer Science from Abilene Christian University.
