Susan S. Wells is an educator, innovator and pioneer in the field of digital learning, innovative learning spaces and Makerspace design and development. She is considered one of the big international names in STEM education. She started her first STEM lab in 2009. She led the first school in the nation at the K-12 level to deploy iPod touch mobile computers in a 1:1 environment for students and staff. Susan published a guiding forum to guide educators in digital learning device deployment. She has presented at conferences across the globe on mobile and digital learning, Makerspaces and innovative learning spaces over the past decade. Susan founded TechTerra Education(TM) in 2016, incorporating Camp TechTerra (afterschool and summer camps), TechTerra Training (professional development for educators and developers), and TechTerra Tools (helping tool developers and institutions find and fit tools to meet classroom needs). Her company works internationally to ensure STEM equity for all.
