Rick Robinson, PhD, is president of Robinson Work Rehabilitation Services, Co., a private vocational and rehabilitation counseling consulting firm in Jacksonville, FL, USA. Dr. Robinson has over 15 years’ experience working in various vocational and disability related settings. His private practice is focused on career and vocational counselling, vocational evaluation, career planning and guidance. He also provides expert witness and litigation support services in civil and administrative law settings that are focused on evaluation of vocational disability, employability, residual earning capacity, and life care planning. Dr. Robinson is nationally credentialed in rehabilitation counselling, vocational evaluation, and life care planning; licensed by the state of Florida as a Mental Health Counselor; board certified by the National Board for Certified Counselors; and has qualified for Diplomate status by the American Board of Vocational Experts. He is a faculty lecturer for the University of Florida, College of Public Health and Health Professions and is the lead instructor for the University of Florida's post-graduate program in forensic vocational rehabilitation. His research interests are focused on forensic rehabilitation analysis, methodologies, and models. Dr. Robinson serves on the International Board of Directors and the Forensic Section Board of Directors for the International Association of Rehabilitation Professionals (IARP), and serves on the Board of Directors for the Academy of Forensic Rehabilitation Research (AFRR).
