Criteria for inclusion are $10 million in assets or $500,000 in charitable giving. The information offered allows researchers to target potential funders for their projects and programs.

About 80% of all listings in the 38th edition have been updated and/or verified for currency. Key information offered in foundation profiles includes: funder name, giving contact information, giving philosophy, new initiatives, financial summary, contributions summary, foundation officers and directors, restrictions on giving, application information, grants analysis, and recent grants. More than 28,000 new grants have been added to this edition.

Each entry includes contact information, EIN, latest assets, total giving, and giving locations. Offers a broader range of top U.S. foundations to consider when selecting potential funders.
