Appendix: Proofs Answers to Exercise Questions.ReviewsAuthor InformationDr Gajjar joined The University of Nottingham Ningbo China (UNNC) as Senior Tutor in Maths and Computer Science at the Centre for English Language Education (CELE) in March 2013, having previously worked as Mathematics Coordinator at the UCL Centre for Preparatory Studies in Astana, Kazakhstan. During 2005-2009 he also worked at the UK campus of the University of Nottingham as Lecturer in Applied Mathematics, where he taught students in Honours Mathematics and Service Teaching from Foundation Year, to Qualifying Year and Second Year. In addition to working in the UK, China and Kazakhstan, Dr Gajjar has worked in India for over 14 years, which includes a Lectureship at the National Institute of Technology. With an academic career spanning over 27 years, Dr Gajjar has taught a number of modules ranging from Foundation, to Masters level in Mathematics and Computer Science. He also delivered research talks at ICTP, Italy, and at International Conference on Fuzzy Computation in Madeira, Portugal. He has been a recipient of EPSRC-funded ‘Bridging the Gaps Award’ in the year 2007 while working at the University of Nottingham UK, and UNNC funded ‘Small Teaching & Learning Development Grant’ for the year 2017–2018.
