OverviewOn Friday, May 10, 1968, John-an American architect-and his wife Catalina, a physician born on Majorca, arrive in Paris for their granddaughter Léna Higgins's wedding. They step out of their Left Bank hotel into the warm spring night. They do not return. Unaware that the Latin Quarter is erupting in student-led protests that will ignite the historic May '68 uprising, the couple is swept into a city on the brink of revolution. What begins as a family visit becomes a fight for survival. A character-driven novel of emotional tension set against the political turmoil of 1968 Paris. Found and Lost You in Paris is a psychological suspense novel told from an uncommon perspective: a long-married senior couple forced to confront danger with intelligence, experience, and hard-earned resilience. In a genre dominated by younger heroes, this novel explores courage later in life-alongside enduring marriage, love rediscovered, and love imperiled. When the familiar world collapses, who do we become? The author personally witnessed the social upheavals that brought France to a standstill. The hand of this writer offers a clear and palpable firsthand view.
