DeJay Lester is a professional indoor football player, who plays at wide receiver. Lester began his football career in college, attending both Snow College and the University of Wyoming on a full athletic scholarship. After finishing his career with the University of Wyoming, Lester went undrafted in 2012. Lester continued his football career playing for both the Arena Football League (AFL) and Indoor Football League (IFL). Over the past 5 years, Lester has played for teams such as the Utah Blaze, New Orleans VooDoo, Green Bay Blizzard, Bemidi Axemen, Tri Cities Fever, Cedar Rapids Titans, and currently the Iowa Barnstormers. In his free time, Lester has found a passion for helping kids who have faced hardships in their life and has spent years working with troubled youth. Lester hopes to one day start his own foundation helping foster kids find safe and loving homes. This book chronicles the trials and tribulations Lester overcame while growing up and how he used those experiences to navigate into his adult life.
