Overview

The specialist area of occupational dermatoses paradigmatically shows that and how prevention works: Within the framework of an interdisciplinary working group at the University of Osnabrück, which is devoted to scientifically founded prevention in the health sector using the example of occupational skin disease, networked, multi-level prevention concepts have been created. They have found national and international interest and have received multiple awards. Model projects of the working group have meanwhile been implemented nationwide in the interest of affected employees in skin-stressing workplaces. Preventive efforts in dermatology are increasingly driving the integration of the subject into our ramified social security system. This book represents the accountability report for the period 2003 to 2008 of the Osnabrück working group.
