Overview

Learn about different governments around the world and how they compare to the United States' democracy in this introduction to forms of government for young learners! There are many nations in the world and each one has been shaped by a unique history and culture. As a result, these different countries have all developed their own individual forms of government. In this book, readers will learn about different forms of government, how governments interact with each other, and what happens when a nation's people decide to fight back against unfair leadership. ABOUT THIS SERIES: Even before the first glorious ring of the Liberty Bell, America was a land of freedom and promise. The ""Cornerstones of Freedom"" series explores what inspires people from all over the world to start life anew here, endure the economic and social upheavals, and defend the land and rights that are unique to the United States of America.
