Overview

Meet Forgetful Baller, the most enthusiastic young basketball player in Hoopville. He's got passion, energy, and-well, he's got a bit of a problem with forgetting things. From leaving one of his basketball shoes at home on the first day of practice to forgetting his jersey on game day, Forgetful Baller's adventures in remembering are both hilarious and heartwarming. Forgetful Baller is a charming story that teaches kids the importance of responsibility and organization. When Forgetful Baller learns to use a checklist to keep track of his gear, he transforms from the team's most forgetful member to its most prepared. This book isn't just a tale about sports; it's a lesson on how a simple tool can make a big difference in achieving our goals. Perfect for young readers who are starting to learn the value of looking after their belongings, Forgetful Baller is a slam dunk for teaching children how to stay organized in a fun and relatable way.

Author Information

Stephanie Rudnick is a former University of Toronto basketball player and the founding owner of Elite Camps, one of the largest basketball organizations of its kind in Canada. She is a wife and a mother of three athletes who share her passion for basketball. She became inspired to start writing because she saw a need for books that helped kids and their families navigate the ups and downs of the basketball journey. She also hopes that her book series inspires parents to embrace both the highs and lows of the basketball journey for the valuable life lessons they provide.
