Genevieve Detering's journey began in Namibia, Africa, where she grew up and completed her primary education. After exploring different places around the world, she settled in New York City, where she acquired a filmmaking diploma and spent a decade working behind the scenes in the film industry, assisting some of Hollywood's top talents. Despite her success in filmmaking, Genevieve's true passion lies in writing, which became even more significant after the loss of her mother in 2016, which inspired her first book Forever in My Heart. This pivotal moment led her to Cape Town, South Africa, where she now lives as an entrepreneur, writer and mindset coach, embracing her multifaceted talents and helping others along their paths.
