He excelled right from his Undergraduate times securing a Gold Medal in the MBBS examination. He completed his Post-Graduation, MD Forensic Medicine from the prestigious Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, India and was awarded Diplomate of National Board. He is a well-known teacher in AIIMS New Delhi, with over 25 years of experience in teaching undergraduate, postgraduate and PhD students. His outstanding work in Medical Profession as a distinguished teacher and researcher was recognized by Indian Association of Medicolegal Experts along with Windsor University, Canada and rewarded fellowship. He is a four-time member of the prestigious Dean's Committee at AIIMS and has been appointed examiner by numerous universities in India and abroad.
