A winner of the prestigious Auto Racing Club of America's (ARCA) National Motorsports Media Award, he has written technical, motorsports, and performance articles for more than 100 various magazines. He has written several books, including CarTech's Chevy 348/409 Engines: How to Rebuild & Modify. Recognized for his ability to make technical stories easier and more understandable, John is also known as a former racer and track official. In addition, he runs Krazy Paint, an annual charity fundraising event to help kids who attend technical and trade schools.
