Table of ContentsReviewsAuthor InformationShane Frederick has been writing about sports teams and athletes ever since he worked for his high school newspaper in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, in the late 1980s. He currently covers college hockey and other sports for The Free Press newspaper in Mankato, Minnesota, and his stories have captured awards from the Associated Press, the Minnesota Newspaper Association, and the Society of Professional Journalists. He is also the author of several books about hockey and football. A graduate of the University of St. Thomas, Shane lives in Mankato with his wife, Sara; their three children, Ben, Jack, and Lucy; and their dog, Charlie. Tyler Omoth has written books on baseball, basketball, and football for young readers. He has also written articles for the Minnesota Twins Gameday program. He's been an avid sports fan since childhood. Tyler lives in Burnsville, Minnesota, with his wife, Mary. They enjoy going to sporting events whenever they can. Their favorite teams are the Minnesota Twins, Minnesota Timberwolves, and Miami Dolphins. Anthony Wacholtz has been a baseball fan since he was old enough to pick up a bat and ball. He earned a degree in English from Minnesota State University, Mankato, and has written a biography for young readers of All-Star catcher Joe Mauer. Besides playing softball and following his favorite team, the Minnesota Twins, he enjoys pitting his baseball knowledge against others in fantasy baseball.
