For the Movement is a short, powerful collection of poems from Christian Harris, a liberatory strategist, speaker, and poet whose work has appeared in Reparations Daily(ish) Zine (2025) and Respect the Mic: Celebrating 20 Years of Poetry from a Chicagoland High School (2022). Drawing from moments, memories, and the everyday acts that keep Black life moving forward, Harris writes with the ancestors at his back and his community at his side.
