TO THE FORTUNATE READER: In days gone by, the men who penned their words of wisdom to MUSIC were known as 'Singin' Cowboys. In our time, we have men like Brian W. Woodward and others like him who wear their hearts on their sleeves as they pen their heartfelt words on sheets of paper for all to read and enjoy. Brian, Is not just a member of the Dead Poet's Society, he is probably the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of this esteemed club: and yet, he's alive and well. His words will bring tears to some, a smile or laughter to others and the true meaning of friendship and love to all, especially to me. I hope his poems bring the same joy to you as I've been able to experience, and that you will find yourself mesmerized in his workings as he recounts feelings that go all the way to the very depths of one's soul.
