Roxane Orgill is an award-winning writer on music and the author of several biographies for young readers, including Skit-Scat Raggedy Cat: Ella Fitzgerald, illustrated by Sean Qualls, and Mahalia: A Life in Gospel Music, as well as a book for adults about music, race, and politics called Dream Lucky. Roxane Orgill lives with her husband and two children in New York City. Stéphane Jorisch has illustrated many books for children, including Lewis Carroll's Jabberwocky, Edward lear's The Owl and the Pussycat, and My Father Knows the Names of Things by Jane Yolen. Stéphane Jorisch lives in Montreal with his wife and their three children.
