On retirement from the public service as Deputy Legal Adviser to the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, Barry Atwood became a freelance consultant, draftsman and writer specialising on food and agriculture legislation. He lives in the south east where he is much involved with his growing family and with its history. He regrets that he has so far failed to find any ancestral link with another Bloomsbury author, Margaret Atwood! Chris Willett is Professor of Law at the University of Essex, UK.
