She is a co-founder of the Food As Medicine Institute at NUNM in Portland, Oregon. She helped develop and facilitate the FAME series and the FAME Educator training program. She has been a consultant for developing nutrition and naturopathic content and curriculum development. At her private clinical practice in Portland, Dr. Briley focuses on the prevention and treatment of chronic diseases, addressing hormone imbalances, and optimizing digestive health. Dr. Briley's longstanding interest in community health and education was sparked through her research and teaching experience in the U.S and Latin America, including her service as a Peace Corps volunteer in Paraguay. Dr. Courtney Jackson earned her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from the National University of Natural Medicine (NUNM) and holds a Bachelor of Science in Resource Ecology Management from the University of Michigan.
