OverviewIn this book, the author, a strong Constitutional Conservative, considers this question: Is Donald Trump, the consistent front runner for the GOP nomination for president, the conservative's best choice to take on Hillary Clinton? The author, Marvin Brooks, wrote a previous book entitled, Researching the Hillary Clinton Scandals, and reached the following conclusion: Hillary Clinton must never be president of the United States. But he senses some serious problems with candidate Trump. The author followed the decidedly ZANY campaign of Trump for several weeks, trying to determine if he has the temperament to be president, and the beliefs in conservative principles and issues to effect the desirable changes conservatives want, if he is elected president. There is also a concern as to whether Trump has the organizational skills to mount the kind of campaign needed to win the GOP nomination and beat Hillary. The author examines the speeches, tweets, TV appearances, and debate performances of Trump, as well as some very controversial business ventures in Trump's past such as the Trump University fiasco, his four bankruptcies, and some very questionable business practices and decisions that might lead even a layman to question his judgment .Some Trump supporters, basing their support on the belief that Trump is some kind of infallible businessman, always coming out on top in his deal--making, might readjust their thinking after reading this book. But the author would grant this: Any examination of this complex man, Donald Trump will never be boring. On the contrary, Trump the showman seems to do, or say, something controversial or outrageous almost every day to keep us all entertained. But in these very troubled times does he have the qualities we want, or need, in a president? In essence, the author of this book, after his examination of Trump, attempts to make a strong case that Donald Trump does not have those qualities. He ends this book by voicing his hope that the GOP, in electing their nominee to be the next president, will not fall for a self--serving showman, because of his celebrity, and who might very well be exaggerating his chief qualifications to be president--that he is a world class deal-maker and infallible businessman.Full Product DetailsAuthor: Marvin BrooksPublisher: Marvin Brooks Imprint: Marvin Brooks Dimensions: Width: 14.00cm , Height: 0.90cm , Length: 21.60cm Weight: 0.191kg ISBN: 9780692638347ISBN 10: 0692638342 Pages: 144 Publication Date: 15 March 2016 Audience: General/trade , General Format: Paperback Publisher's Status: Active Availability: Available To Order We have confirmation that this item is in stock with the supplier.
