Follow Me: The Life and Times of Jesus of Nazareth

Overview

A Harmony Transformed into History What began as a scholarly effort to align the four Gospels has evolved into a sweeping work of historical fiction - a narrative that steps behind the stained glass to reveal the dust, the politics, and the profound humanity of the first century. This is not merely a retelling of familiar verses. It is a reconstruction of a life lived in the shadow of empire and the light of eternity. Beyond the Nativity and the Cross History often rushes past the ""silent years,"" but this account lingers there. Witness the unrecorded moments that forged the man: the sharp intelligence of a twelve-year-old confounding the elders in the Temple, and the somber, quiet heroism of a son burying his father, Joseph. The Valor of the Women's Core Challenge the traditional view of the discipleship. Here, the women who followed Jesus are not background figures, but the steel spine of the ministry. From the ordaining of female disciples to the logistics of the traveling camp, experience the untold stories of the Women's Core of Evangelists - leaders like Joanna and Mary Magdalene who performed acts of valor and diplomacy that kept the movement alive. The Rhythms of Ancient Israel The narrative breathes with the atmosphere of the era. You will not just read about the feasts; you will stand amidst the thunder of the Levitical choirs during the Feast of Tabernacles and feel the tension of the crowds during the Passover. Key Features: Expanded Early Life: Explores the ""silent years,"" including the death of Joseph and the succession of James as the head of the Nazareth household. The Women's Core: Depicts the ordination and critical leadership roles of female disciples within Jesus' ministry. Immersive Culture: detailed historical reconstruction of Jewish festivals, rituals, and the political landscape of first-century Judea. The Damascus Road: A dramatic retelling of Saul's conversion and his transformation into the Apostle Paul.
