OverviewAn example of the potential (and the contradictions) of contemporary alliances between art, design, and social entrepreneurship.Fogo Island, a fishing settlement with approximately 2,500 inhabitants, located off the coast of Newfoundland, saw its livelihood almost devastated in the mid-twentieth century because of industrial overfishing.
