Previous to this, he was Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration at the University of Maastricht, The Netherlands and Principal Lecturer in Transport at the London Guildhall University. He gained a PhD in Air Transport Management from Cranfield University, UK and studied at the School of Aeronautics and the School of Management at Florida Institute of Technology, USA.
