Early in the morning of 6th October 1957, a five-year-old boy looked up to the skies over the Tunisian Sahel region to get a glimpse of the very first satellite in orbit around Earth, the famous Sputnik. Despite not spotting it, he started dreaming of a future high up in the skies. Little did the young boy know then about his future, and that his life would eventually fulfill and even exceed his wildest dreams. Habib Fekih, who is Tunisian, is an aerospace electronics engineer who has worked in the fields of both airlines and aircraft manufacturers. He has held several executive positions, which allowed him to become a privileged witness of the aviation industry. Habib participated in the commercial success of Airbus and in several projects which impacted the industry, and he has built relationships with many famous personalities around the world. His passions for both aviation and history allow him to take us on a journey through the world of aviation for eight decades.
