Author Information

Jennifer Weiner is a #1 New York Times bestselling author of numerous novels. After graduating with a degree in English literature from Princeton, she worked as a newspaper reporter in a number of states but became a full-time writer after the publication of her first novel in 2001. Her novel In Her Shoes was made into a major motion picture starring Cameron Diaz, and she is the co-creator and executive producer of the ABC Family show State of Georgia. As a public speaker, Weiner has appeared on the Today show, the Martha Stewart Show, and her work has appeared in such publications as Seventeen, Salon, Redbook, Glamour, and others. Judith Light is a two-time Tony Award-winning actress, winning Best Performance by a Featured Actress in a Play for both The Assembled Parties and Other Desert Cities. She also won Drama Desk Awards for both of these roles. Judith's television career began with the role of Karen Wolek on One Life to Live, for which she won two Best Actress Emmy Awards. She has many more stage, film, and television roles to her credit as well.
