Bireswar Majumdar, Ph.D. (IIT Delhi), is Professor, Department of Power Engineering, Jadavpur University, Kolkata, India. Dr. Majumdar, an expert in the testing of small hydro plants at site, has published/presented 150 technical papers in various national and international journals and conferences, and has over three decades of teaching and research experience. His research interests include hydropower, wind power and experimental aerodynamics.
