Overview

Big Cat for Little Wandle Fluency has been developed in collaboration with Wandle Learning Trust and Little Sutton Primary School. It consists of a range of chapter books with increasing word counts across 15 fluency levels aimed at children in Years 2-4. Each book builds reading confidence, stamina and speed and nurtures a love for reading. Fluency 13 books have a word count of 6720 words with an expected reading rate of 140 words per minute. Things aren’t going well for Summer Spriggins. So, when she notices a new shop and the shopkeeper entices her with a magical stone, how can she refuse? Author Information

Kate Foster is a children's author writing about friends, family, and dogs. After growing up on a council estate in a small town in the southeast of England, she now lives on the sunny Gold Coast in Australia with her own family and second-hand dogs. She has written several middle grade novels including PAWS, The Bravest Word and The Unlikely Heroes Club, plus a chapter book series about an autistic superhero called Harriet Hound .
