It consists of a range of chapter books with increasing word counts across 15 fluency levels aimed at children in Years 2-4. Each book builds reading confidence, stamina and speed and nurtures a love for reading. Fluency 12 books have a word count of 6240 words with an expected reading rate of 130 words per minute. Join Zax, an alien from the planet Glibberon, on his first solo mission to Earth. Author Information

Simon Yeend is a children’s author who has written several books for Collins Big Cat. He loves writing stories that make the reader go “Wow!” or laugh out loud. Sometimes both! A father to three girls, he lives in Sussex and can be found most days walking his dog in the beautiful surrounding countryside. Daniel lives in a coastal village near Barcelona. He studied at an art school, specialising in illustration. After which, he worked developing video games for companies such as Ubisoft. He’s now passionate about children books, comic books and educational books.
