Overview

Big Cat for Little Wandle Fluency has been developed in collaboration with Wandle Learning Trust and Little Sutton Primary School. It consists of a range of chapter books with increasing word counts across 10 fluency levels aimed at children in Year 2 and 3. Each book builds reading confidence, stamina and speed and nurtures a love for reading. Fluency 10 books have a word count of 5760 words with an expected reading rate of 120 words per minute. Author Information

Hawys Morgan writes both fiction and non-fiction readers for children. Her understanding of the power of language has its roots in her childhood in north Wales, where much of the population is bilingual. Her own study of other languages, as well as many years spent working in educational publishing, have cemented her interest in reading and language acquisition. She has written over 50 books for young learners.
