Overview

These print images are from a series of paintings that were inspired by the ephemeral nature of flowers. They are painted in a modern style with surrealistic overtones. I used mutliple different techniques in painting the originals including collage and liquid drip, giving the canvas alternating effects of heaviness and lightness. Overall, the message I was attempting to convey is that flowers and their tremendous beauty is ephemeral.
