When acclaimed needlework artist Susan O’Connor set out to celebrate her love of Elizabethan Botanicals, a stitched masterpiece was born. Her stunning wool and cashmere blanket inspired by the sumptuous embroidery of the Elizabethan era took us on a tour of a 16th century garden, showcasing some of the Queen’s favourite fruits and flowers through 24 beautifully designed motifs. In this new book, Susan has expanded her collection of motifs and created fourteen additional projects including pinwheels for each pair of fruits and flowers, plus a needlebook and scissor sheath to complete a set of beautiful accessories with your chosen motifs.
