JAMES L. JOHNSON, American Academy of Florists (AAF), American Institute of Floral Designers (AIFD), and Texas Master Florist (TMF), is the director of the Benz School of Floral Design and the Benz Gallery of Floral Art at Texas A&M. WILLIAM J. MCKINLEY, JR., AIFD, from Rochelle, Illinois, is the floral design instructor at Kishwaukee College, as well as associate instructor of the Benz School of Floral Design. He is a contributing editor for Flowers & magazine. M. """"BUDDY"""" BENZ earned his B.S. degree in landscape art and floriculture at Texas A&M University and in 1946 established the Benz School of Floral Design.
