Penelope Hobhouse is internationally renowned as a gardener, writer and garden designer. She is Associate Editor of Gardens Illustrated and a regular contributor to many other newspapers, magazines and periodicals, and she lectures widely in Britain and the United States. Her books include Colour in Your Garden, Garden Style, The Country Gardener, On Gardening and Penelope Hobhouse's Garden Designs (all Frances Lincoln).
