Lovely book to review. The cover makes you want to make the quilt, with the full quilt sewn and hanging. There are 18 blocks inside, projects for you to make this quilt as shown, or even to use the blocks to create a quilt design of your own; the possibilities are endless. will have to look out for the author's other book as well. She talks you through how to use her book and the best practices to achieve the best quilt and blocks. In addition to the 18 blocks to make, she provides 6 quilt projects, allowing you to create 6 different quilts using the blocks you have made. There are instructions for each block throughout the book, and she guides you with ideas of fabric, cutting the pieces and stitch and flip instructions. She also has a section on completing the farm sampler and assembling each block to fit with the others. l would definitely recommend this book to quilters, whether just starting out or one's who have quilted a long time.
