OverviewMy son and I offer this story as a gift, to all of us, in the hopes that we can come together as a society, having each other's backs, living in harmony with each other, with the goal of health, abundance, security and passion expressed for all beings, no exception. During my short stint pursuing an MBA, I realized that the business world's answer to sustainable business, was just more of the same: work harder to extract every penny from a sale, while extracting as much work from the employees, for the least amount of pay ... while putting in place greenwashing, in order to make it look good ... all the while, having to beef up the employee handbooks to include Don't steal, put in place tighter firewalls in their data centers, and push Congress to enact tougher ethics laws. Really? Is that the answer? Has it worked yet? There's a saying in our society, that says insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, expecting a different result. I would argue that today's business model is insane, because its mostly all about the money, and no longer really about the people. And the people are losing their patience. We're on the brink of a new world. In this book, my son and I offer some ideas and even maybe some solutions to begin perhaps looking at ourselves, first, to find the answers within, that we ... you ... can put in place for yourself to lead us all out of our insanity. He was born into a fairly dysfunctional family, and still, no different than all of his friends. Yet, something burned within him, relentlessly, that there was a better way ... to love. That burning ate at him his whole life, urging relentlessly, to find the answer ... to it all ... as it were. This book is that gift ... the answer that came to be. Blessings.
