Reviews
“In a market saturated with loud dystopias and high-drama apocalypse fiction, Flood Waters Down stands out because it speaks in a calm, steady voice.” “Written by someone with a journalist’s eye for detail and a storyteller’s heart for atmosphere and empathy.” “Flooded London and the Fens are vividly rendered, not just as post-climate-collapse settings but as characters in their own right.” “The writing is richly descriptive, deftly complex and harrowingly convincing.” “Character development is rich and engaging, the pace is energised, and the sensory details are mesmerising.” “A deeply complex, lyrical read which I thoroughly enjoyed.”
