OverviewIn October 1969 I was one of twenty-five or more San Francisco Police Department (SFPD) officers who responded to a murder in the Presidio Heights district of San Francisco which was later attributed the so-called Zodiac killer. Long after my police career, I began studying five Zodiac cases. In my first book One Night in October I open my investigation of the cases. Law enforcement sources, copies of executioner's ciphers and letters, area maps, timeline charts, comparative crimes data, modus operandi, and personality profiles, followed by analysis and interpretation. In this second book, I present a suspect in terms of opportunity, means and motive. I conclude the Zodiac's executions were displaced aggression, a deadly redirection of anger and frustration onto third parties, or persons who represented the source of his angst on those ""who would never be missed!"" His victim's lives were of no consequence and did not matter to him, such was his arrogance leading to the murder of five innocent victims, attempted murder of two innocent victims.... and he was never brought to justice because they didn't catch him.
