He absolutely loved reminiscing over what the prices were of things and of special occurrences in 1960. We spent hours together reading it. Gave this to my husband for his 50th birthday and he loved it. It was fascinating to read about hippie life in the 70s and all the news articles which were not boring at all. The advertisement pages were great- cheeky and sexist, but that's how they were back then. ...an easy read, very informative, with slightly larger print which is good for the elderly. The pages are not too cluttered, with black and white pictures from that time (hence some look worn or faded). The ads and prices of things and other stats are fun to read.
