He served as the youngest newspaper editor in the country, the youngest cabinet-level Chief of Staff for a Tennessee governor, and the youngest vice president of his alma mater-the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Continuing the trend, after his stint in higher education, Bo was selected as the youngest-ever CEO of an international exposition. He went on to be named president of the 1982 World's Fair in Knoxville, an event celebrated as a record-breaking top tourist draw in the southeastern United States, a record that still stands in 2023. Bo leads his own boutique marketing consulting firm, Roberts Strategies LLC, and he stays active in politics and sports.
