What was supposed to be a routine job of pouring drinks for the gods at the council meeting turned into an introduction between Violet and Phoenix, the new god who had replaced Hades. He was surprisingly friendly and even offered Violet a divine boon, one of the first to be offered in thousands of years. Of course, power doesn't come free. Now that Violet has become flame-blessed, she is approached by Hermes to do a seemingly simple mission.
