Overview

Queen Nora and the magical bees brought Charlie, the llama, to Five Mile Farm to be a pony for Carly. After becoming fast friends, Carly and Charlie set out on an adventure to learn why Grumps, the mean coyote living in the mountain cave, was so mean! After discovering that Grumps was sad and lonely, they presented Grumps the gift of warmth and love with a beautiful coat at Christmas. Everything seemed perfect at Five Mile Farm--and then, the return of Farmer Bud. In the fourth book of the Five Mile Charlie series, the excitement continues as a trial begins in the barnyard! Will Charlie get to stay at Five Mile Farm or will Charlie have to leave with Farmer Bud? Find out in this humorous barnyard trial that determines Charlie's fate.
