The book that you are holding now is a companion to my book Pickleball, Injury Free! Have Fun, Be Social, Avoid Injury & Be Competitive. The first book was a comprehensive guide to pickleball conditioning. This book offers more detail about exercises that are helpful to pickleball athletes. The focus here is the exercises that you can use as a pickleball (or golf or tennis!) athlete to warmup, cooldown, get stronger, more powerful and more agile. We also address exercises that can help you to avoid injury or even rehab old injuries. The additional twist to this book is that the exercises avoid using any equipment and can all be done while standing up. Many able-bodied athletes are unwilling to lift weights or do floor exercises. I can't fault them for that though. Lifting weights is a pain if you are not into it. And once we pass the crawling stage of life who wants to get down on the floor - or a pickleball court - and do exercises and get all dirty.
