Overview

When an aging DOMENIC (Dom) BELLINI formed a friendship with the Somerville family, he didn't know that friendship would lead to his disclosure of a family secret strictly guarded for decades. That family secret, an initiative developed during World War II to keep the Bellini family safe during World War II and dispel Dom's Italian-born mother's fears of wartime incarceration, must keep people safe again. After Dom and his friends inadvertently witness what they believe to be a crime, they realise the authorities will require solid evidence before they will consider mounting an official investigation. Dom and Jock Somerville are persuaded by the Somerville's teenage twin sons that they should gather the evidence required by the authorities. The friends embark on their own investigation although it means putting their lives in danger.
