Overview

Prepare yourself. ""Fishin' for Trouble"" is about to hook you! These two new stories by Vail Johnson - a 9-year-old scribe - and Ed Payne - a veteran journalist and children's author - are just what this cynical world needs. They're full of friendship, humor and insight. While Vail died suddenly in her sleep before she could turn 10, her unique stories are still putting smiles on faces and teaching lessons to young and old alike. Payne's storytelling skills refine the young writer's promise and the vivid images of illustrator Britt Sekulic transport you into Vail's world where she grabs your imagination and inspires your soul.

Her work includes ""Fishin' for Trouble"",""Vail's Tales"", ""The Daily Rounds of a Hound"",""Come Along and Dream"", as well as her very own children's book series ""Peepi Leepi"". Britt's work has been featured on CNN, reached #1 in Children's Religious Fiction on Amazon, and even found its way to the library of the Duke Duchess of Sussex. She has worked with award-winning journalists, Ed Payne and Faith Karimi on their children's book series. Additionally, Britt has done book design, book cover art and map design on many projects including children's books ""Bernie's First Plane Adventure"", ""Bernie and the Lonely Rhino"" by Faith Karimi, ""Burners"" by New York Times bestselling author Bob Mayer, ""Guernica: The Wound in the Heart"" by Winston Carter, ""The Ensuite Life: Traveling the World and Avoiding the Toilet at the End of the Hall"" by screenwriter Michael Barmish, and ""72 Raisins"" by Nikki Nash, assistant director of Conan.
