Overview

The book presents an assessment of the guarantee levels of juvenile omnivorous fish feeds, Oreochromis niloticus and Cyprinus carpio, through comparison with the nutritional requirements established by the National Research Council of the National Academies - Nutrient Requirement of Fish and Shrimp, NRC- 2011. Eight manufacturers were catalogued, including Nutriara, Socil, Poli-Nutri, Supra, Guabi, Lupus, Irca, and Fri-Ribe, with their respective feed categories being the same, established according to the crude protein (CP%) level. In total, 27 categories were found, in which the criteria analysed were moisture, PB, vitamins (A, E, B2, B6, B12, Choline, Biotin, Pantothenic Acid, Niacin) and minerals (zinc, iron, calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, manganese and copper).
