Michael Dougherty is an associate professor of mathematics and former chair of the Department of Mathematics at Southwestern Oklahoma State University. He holds a Ph.D. in mathematics from Purdue University and a bachelor's degree in mathematics with a minor in physics from Creighton University. John Gieringer is an assistant professor of mathematics and physics at Alvernia University. He holds a master's degree from Kutztown University and a bachelor's degree in mathematics with a minor in physics from Alvernia University.
