Overview

These poems are not monuments, but footprints. They trace the small, inward journeys-the hush of heartbreak, the shimmer of memory, the ache of questions left unanswered. They come from evenings when the world fell silent, and the only voice I could hear was one rising from within, asking to be written. This collection is my first offering. Each verse is a fragment of lived time: some shaped by solitude, others by the warmth of fleeting moments, and many by the shadowed places we all carry. In reading these lines, you may find echoes of your own aspirations ambitions, joys and sorrows.

Author Information

Dr. Chidambar Patil, Associate Professor of English (Retd), obtained his BA form Lingraj College Belagavi (1984), MA from Karnataka University, Dharwad (1986) and PhD from Gulbarga University, Kalburgi (2019). He possesses 36 years of teaching experience and has served in many colleges, notably Secab's ARSI Degree College for Women, Vijayapura. He was visiting and guest faculty for KSAWU, Vijayapura and RCU PG Centre, Vijayapura. Dr. Patil has authored 30 research publications, edited 28 textbooks for KSAWU. A regular speaker and contributor at Seminars, conferences etc. Recently, published his miniature Epic Poem ""Savitri"" (Conquest of Death) (2025).
