Vimalasara (Valerie Mason-John) is the author of 'Detox Your Heart: Meditations for Emotional Trauma'. She is trained by Dr Gabor Mate in Compassionate Inquiry (CI), and works as a CI therapist and mindfulness practitioner, as well as a recovery and life coach. She is the co-founder of the award-winning free recovery program Eight Step Recovery, based on the book, and co-founder of the online program Mindfulness Based Addiction Recovery. Ordained into the Triratna Buddhist Order, she has dedicated her life to the uplift of those suffering. She is an international public speaker and trainer in the field of mindfulness approaches for addiction.
