Reviews

"""In the edge of relocation, japa and expat immigration from Africa, Oluimide and Samon share important principles for thinking about wealth, prosperity, and financial independence.I love that both authors live in different ends of the world and are able to coalesce their experiences into principles that others can follow. Olumide lived in the US, while Samon lived in the UAE - still, they were able to decide what was important to them, make a plan, follow through, and achieve financial independence before 40.Truly and inspiring and important read.I have recommended this to all my friends and can't wait to get the paperbooks for some. "" ""Olumide and Samon are remarkable individuals. They immigrated to the US and were able to achieve financial independence at a relatively young age. The book goes into their formative years, the experiences that shaped their worldview, and the fundamental principles that they live by. If you're interested in financial freedom, the immigrant story, or an intentional approach to building your career, then there's something for you in this book."" ""Firedom is an excellent book offering the reader concrete strategies to gain personal freedom and financial independence. Further, Firedom is much more too as it offers helpful advice on cultivating self-reliance, hard work and curiosity as part of parenting. It also provides a long list of excellent book recommendations alongside detailed explanations of the Firedom journey both Olumide and Samon took. Whether you are young or older, Firedom offers so much and is highly recommended as your next read."" ""I absolutely loved this book! It felt like listening to a couple of friends sharing their experiences and challenging my perspective on things as simple as balancing a fun and enjoyable life and personal finance optimization. One of the author's strategy of achieving financial independence by living on a small budget in an expensive city like Dubai is genuinely inspiring. I have found the book entertaining, the rhythm exhilarating, and the developed concepts liberating. The authors' personal stories and reflections make this book a joy to listen to. I am also considering buying the written version to keep it in my personal collection and regularly come back to it (but perhaps this would not be FIRE-friendly: ) )"" ""Recently, I have been rethinking my whole financial independence journey and luckily for me I came across this book. It was really helpful in making a great financial independence plan and coming up with methods and strategies. My favorite is value-based spending!"""
