Author Information

Canadian born Linda Bel is a first time Children's Author and Illustrator. She moved to California to join Disney Feature Animation as an CG animator on Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin and The Lion King. She then moved to the San Francisco Bay Area to join Industrial Light & Magic where she animated on the Star Wars Prequels and many others. The seals in Richardson Bay became the inspiration for Finny's adventure Linda Bel writes and illustrates children's books and teaches animation in the San Francisco Bay Area. She enjoys painting in watercolors and looking for seals on her walks along the beach with her husband Steve, son Nate and rescue dog, Buddy Noodles.
